STILL A FEW TICKETS LEFT FOR DONEGAL DOUBLE-HEADER AT O’DONNELL PARK

Rory KavanaghTHERE are still a few hundred tickets left for the Donegal hurling and football double header at O’Donnell Park in Letterkenny tomorrow.

Donegal’s hurlers take on Down in the Division 2B clash at 1.15pm followed by Donegal’s footballers v Down at 3pm in the Division 1 clash.

It promises to be a special atmosphere at O’Donnell Park with a capacity 8,000 crowd expected.

The following is information issued by Donegal GAA PRO today:

Ticket Information.
Event is all ticket. You must have a ticket to gain access to the grounds.
Tickets are available to purchase from your local Supervalu & Centra stores.
Pre Purchase Prices.
Adult €10
Senior/Student €10
Juvenile U16. €5
Patrons travelling to O’Donnell Park.
Patrons are asked to arrive early as a large crowd is expected. Patrons attending at the O’Donnell Park are requested to respect residents by behaving in an appropriate manner when going to and departing the stadium. Issues such as illegal parking, anti social behaviour, drinking and urinating in public cause difficulties and will not be tolerated by Gardai. Patrons are asked to desist from such behaviour. Gardai & Stewards will be available to assist in all areas throughout the event.
Patrons travelling from South Donegal & Roscommon should allow extra travel time due to roadworks on the N15 between Donegal Town & Ballybofey.
Seating
No Reserved Seating. Seating is on a first come first served basis. The GAA Season Ticket/Club+ Card allows the holder access to the grounds via the designated stiles. As the seating is unreserved holders of GAA Season Tickets/Club+ Cards are not guaranteed a seat in the stand.
Vehicular access to O’Donnell Park.
A Garda Cordon may be in effect on the road that lead to O’Donnell Park. Only accredited vehicles will be permitted to pass by this cordon. All vehicles will be checked for accreditation prior to entry to the ground. No spectator parking within the St.Eunan’s grounds.
Special Needs Parking:
There are 20 disabled parking spaces in the O’Donnell Park car park which can only be accessed on production of the disabled blue badge.. Patrons using this facility should be in the grounds at least 2 hours prior to the event starting or admittance cannot be guaranteed.

Parking;

There is no spectator parking within the St.Eunan’s grounds. Patrons are advised to utilise car parks in the town & avail of the shuttle bus service to and from the grounds.Drivers should be aware that illegally or improperly parked vehicles have the potential to cause traffic disruption and obstruction to emergency vehicles that may need to access O’Donnell Park. Tow Wagons will be in operation during the event and offending vehicles will be removed.

Bus & Coach Information
There are no specific bus or coach parking areas around the grounds. Coaches must not be parked in a manner which could lead to disruption. Coach Operators are advised to drop their passengers and have a clear plan in place to pick up their passengers after the event.
Safety Information
Vehicles parked inside the grounds will not be allowed depart the ground for 30 minutes after the event is over in the interest of health & safety.In order to ensure crowd safety and ease of movement patrons should comply with the instructions of Gardai and stewards during entry & departure of the stadium. These Gardai & stewards will be available to assist in all areas.
