A formal warning has been issued to all Leprechauns in the area to please stay away from the Burtonport Old Railway Walk in the coming days.
Word has it that a Leprechaun catcher is at work at the minute and has already caught a dozen leprechauns which he has restricted to a cage in a bid to limit their mischief over the run up St Patrick’s day.
These little fellas are pretty clever though and it seems that they keep a special key for times such as these and they are calling for HELP from all brave boys and girls to come along to help solve a puzzle which will reveal where the magic key is hidden.
In return they will give some lucky winner their CROCK OF GOLD as a thank you.
If you fancy helping the wee fellas out then come along and pick up your instructions from the XL service station in Burtonport where you will find directions to the start of the walk and details of what you need to do as you take part on the annual Leprechaun hunt.
