SCORCHER! SUMMER HAS ARRIVED EARLY IN DONEGAL – AND IT’S ONLY MARCH!

It’s only March, but Donegal is basking in glorious sunshine which is usually not seen until the summer!

A Donegal Daily reader has sent us this image (above) which shows that the temperature in his car is 16.5c!

Incredible weather for March, and makes a great change from the brutal weather we’ve been subjected to thus far in 2016.

The fantastic weather is expected to last right through St Patrick’s Day and into next week.

Hopefully it’s a good indicator for the months ahead!
