CRIME ALERT: A group of fraudsters who claim to be associated with a GAA club in Donegal, are con artists who are selling fake tickets!

Carndonagh GAA club released a statement last night urging locals to be vigilant regarding a group of con artists claiming to be raising money for the club.

They were going door-to-door claiming to be selling tickets on behalf of Carndonagh GAA club.

It is believed a number of people were stung by the callous group of individuals.

Carndonagh GAA club posted the following on their Facebook timeline, “Folks, it has come to our attention that there are individuals going around tonight door-to-door selling tickets claiming to be for Carndonagh GAA.

“We ARE NOT selling tickets door-to-door. If you have been approached please contact us. Spread the word!!!”
