Dunfanaghy Golf Club Notes:
It is great to see the crowds around Dunfanaghy again. Easter always is a busy time in the area and the club has been no different. There were large crowds on the course all weekend. And the chef has been busy in the clubhouse. Everyone is very complimentary of the food. Keep the good work going, paddy, Sarah and all the staff. We had our Divot day on Good Friday and there was large attendance, with the job completed in no time. Thanks for everyone that turned up. We will all benefit in the long run.
The Past pupils of the Royal and Prior comprehensive School will hold their Annual classic this coming Friday at the club. This is always well supported with great prizes. Let’s hope it is a good day and have a large turnout. Book on-line or ring Mary or Ruth in the clubhouse to secure your booking.

There was a large attendance of the juveniles on Saturday with a Easter egg for everyone. Seamus also held a camp last week with the next young golfers getting guidance. It is great to see so many young children taking up the game and also to see so many girls participating. Keep up the good work Seamus, Brian, James.
Function Room for Private Parties:
We have hosted a number of private functions in the clubhouse recently and these have proved to be a great success. If you, or someone you know, is organising a private function please be aware that the clubhouse is available free of charge, with exclusive use for the occasion. So far, the feedback that we have been getting is that the golf club is the ideal venue for parties of up to one hundred people. Please make contact with Sarah if you are interested in holding a function at the clubhouse (074 91 36335)
