CRIME ALERT: GARDAÍ are searching for a suspected criminal gang operating in Donegal in the past few hours.
Patrols are looking to locate a white Ford Transit van with the partial registration 12D.
It follows a report from residents in the Ramelton area of suspicious activity.
Gardaí in Milford have issued an alert to text alert groups in the district asking for information on the van and its occupants.
However gardaí believe the gang could have moved to other parts of the county and are on the look-out for opportunist burglaries or thefts from businesses.
The warning comes just a few days after garda crime prevention officers issued a warning that travelling gangs do operate in the county and warned home and business owners to be vigilant.
Anyone with information is asked to report it to Milford Garda Station on 074 9153048 or their nearest garda station.
