St. Michael’s Notes

All County League

St. Michael’s are at home to Glenswilly on this Saturday evening the 9th April with the throw ins at 5.15pm and 6.45pm.

Division1 League  Semi Final Tickets

The Deadline for Tickets through the club for the Dublin v Donegal Division 1 League Semi Final in Croke Park on this Sunday the 10th April is 3pm on Wednesday the 6th April.  Names to be given to Moses on 0868832129 or Patricia Kelly on 0861239435 by then.

The Ticket Prices are Adult €15, Juvenile (Under 6 years €5).

Please note no concession in the Hogan Stand.  Family tickets in the Cusack/Davin Stand.  Clubs ordering family tickets to please state the number of adults and children in each family.

Group passes to be ordered directly through  http://www.gaa.ie/tickets/the-gaa-group-pass/.  Cut off time is  Wednesday 6th April at 2pm.

Safe Talk

A Safe Talk Course has been arranged to be held in the Clubhouse at the Bridge on this Monday the 11th April beginning at 7.pm and finishing at 10pm. This course is free of charge and it is recommended that all coaches and administrators and anyone else over 18 should attend. Refreshments will be served. It is limited to 24 participants; anyone wishing to attend should give their names to Moses on 0868832129 as soon as possible. Please Note earlier start time.

Good Luck to the St. Michael’s Players and the rest of the Donegal team and management in the League Division 1 Semi Final against Dublin in Croke Park on this Sunday the 10th April.

St. Michael’s Lotto Rota

The names for the St. Michael’s Mini Lotto Rota for this Saturday night the 9th April Dunfanaghy Tommy McGinley Creeslough Brian Dolan, 16th April Liam McElhinney and Mickey McFadden, Creeslough Rose Baird.

St. Michael’s Mini Lotto

There was no Jackpot winner in the St. Michael’s Mini Lotto on Sunday Night last; The numbers drawn were 3,4,7,9,12,18.  There were no Match 5 winners; 48 people matched 4 and their names were draw.  The winner of the €100 was John Doak Creeslough.  This weeks Jackpot be €3150. The Club would like to thank Brian and Margaret Anne Dolan, Molly’s Bar Dunfanaghy, Seamus Sweeney Kildarragh Construction Philadelphia, Shaun Langan Creeslough Pallets and Michael McColgan Dunfanaghy for their continuing sponsorship of the lotto jackpot, it is very much appreciated.

The Club would like to thank Boyces Centra in Dunfanaghy for allowing club members to sell tickets in the store on Friday last.

Tickets are on sale in local businesses in Dunfanaghy and Creeslough and at the Bingo Session in Massinass Community Centre Creeslough on Sunday evenings, tickets for the St. Michaels Mini Lotto can now also be purchased on line anywhere at at onlinelotto on facebook .

Drive Home in Style from the Bingo in Creeslough

The winner of the €100 on the 9th game at the Bingo Session in the Massinass Community Centre on Sunday night last Martin Keavney Chapel Road Dunfanaghy.

You could win a car on every game every Sunday night at the Bingo Session in the Massinass Community Centre Creeslough by winning a house on 45 nos or less.  Check on 45 Numbers or less with the magic number in the panel and the lucky number drawn in the first five numbers of that game, you win the car or €10,000.  The normal Snowball is also in place every night. The Magic Number from 1 to 90 is drawn out every Sunday night before the bingo begins.  The car was in play last Sunday night but was not won. In addition every House winner will receive a free entry to the weekly lotto, this weeks Jackpot is €3150.  The single book is €8. Bingo continues every Sunday evening at 8pm in the Massinass Community Centre

SOS for Photographs! Nicola is currently gathering photographs for the clubhouse. If anyone has ANY team photographs from winning senior, reserve, u21 or any underage teams in league/championship/Gaeltacht she would really appreciate if you let her know. All hard copies of the photos will be returned to you safely once we make a copy of them or likewise photos can be emailed to secretary.stmichaels.donegal@gaa.ie Please spread the word as the team photos required date back to 1967!! All help with this little project would be much appreciated. Thanks everyone.

Club Gear

Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure is now stocking St Michaels club gear in children and adult sizes.

Initials can be embroidered on tops if requested in the shop.

St. Michael’s Minor Board

U12s Training begins at the Bridge this Fri evening  April 8th from 6 until 7.30pm with the bus leaving Creeslough at 5.30pm sharp .  E3 for the bus and gum shields are essential . Any queries : please contact Brandan on 083 188 8983

U14s

St Michael ‘s U14s played away to St Eunan’s last Monday evening and were well beaten by a stronger St Eunan’s side but the team performed well.

Training now takes place every FRIDAY evening at the Bridge @7pm. The bus is €3 and leaves Creeslough at 6.30pm.

U16s Matches for the U 16s does not take place until after the Junior Cert Exams in June. Players will be advised when training commences by the manager –Martin.

Minors St Michael’s Minors were away to Cloughaneely last Wednesday evening and in a well contested game by our neighbours, St Michael ‘s ran out winners by six points . The Minors then played at home on Sunday morning against Gweedore and had a very convincing win .  Though the team still have to play  Termon in the League campaign , the Bridgemen are through to the Semifinals ! Well done to all

Registration  Thank you to all who registered to become members of St Michael’s before the deadline. Any child still wishing to register for the Parish League can still do so on the day. Parish League Parish League continues this Sunday at the Bridge from 1.30 until 3pm.  We still need volunteers please for help in the tea rooms, on the gate, with refereeing and coaching .Any donations of home baking or Sandwiches would be greatly appreciated.
