Letterkenny Gaels Club Notes.

The senior and reserve footballers were at home at the weekend to Buncrana. The senior lads recorded an important victory while the reserves lost their match. This weekend Aodh Ruadh are the opposition for both teams. Throw in times at In Ballyshannon are 6.00pm (reserve) and 7.30pm (senior). All support welcome.

Our ladies footballers welcomed Mac Cumhaills to Pairc na nGael at the weekend. The girls showed a marked improvement from their previous match against Fanad Gaels but unfortunately lost out to a strong Finn Valley side.

In the minor hurling league a great second half display from Letterkenny Gaels minor team sealed a historic first ever victory for the Gaels at this level. Setanta led at the break and started well in the second half but Gaels began to settle and produce some skillful fast hurling. Well done to all involved.
