SWEENEY

The death has occurred of John SWEENEY of Warden, Ballynashanagh, Fanad.
The death took place at Aras Ui Dhomhnaill Nursing Home, Milford of John Sweeney. Remains will arrive at St Columba’s Church, Massmount on Monday at 7pm to repose overnight. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11am. Burial afterwards in Massmount Cemetery.

PEOPLES

The death has occurred of Emma PEOPLES of Father McCool Terrace, Oldtown, Letterkenny.
Reposing at her late residence. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 10am in St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny. Interment afterwards in New Leck Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to The Alzheimer’s Society c/o Con McDaid and Sons Funeral Directors.

FERRY

The death has taken place in Glasgow of Rose Ferry of Glasserchoo, Gweedore. Survived by her four brothers and three sisters.
Funeral from Glasgow on Monday, 9th May, going to her late residence in Glasserchoo, arriving there between 7.30pm to 8.00pm. Funeral from there on Wednesday, the 11th May, going to St Colmcille’s Church, Knockfola for 11.00am mass with burial afterwards in adjacent graveyard.
Rosary both nights at 9.00pm. House private after rosary till 10.00am and on the morning of the funeral.

HANNIGAN

The death has occurred of Bridget HANNIGAN (née Herron)
Forquar, Milford. Pecefully at her residence beloved wife of the late Frank and loving mother of Michael and Kevin. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing sons, daughter-in-law, sister Teresa, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Requiem Mass in St.Peter’s Church, Milford at 11am on Wednesday followed by interment in Glenfin Cemetery. Family flowers only- donations in lieu, to Alzheimer’s Society care of McElwee Funeral Directors or any family member. House private each day from 11pm to 10am and on the morning of the funeral.
