DARKNESS INTO LIGHT

We would like to thank all of our club members who joined us in this year’s Group Entry in supporting Pieta House at the Darkness into light 5k Walk /Run on Saturday morning last in Letterkenny.
It was great to see over 45 of our club members /players together as a group participating and raising money for such a worthy cause. In what turned out to be a beautiful morning, your support is very much appreciated by the club ..

FIRST AID CERTIFICATES HANDED OUT

The First Aid certs were given out on Tuesday night at the clubhouse. We would like to thank all 29 of our Team Coaches, committee members , players and members who participated in this course. We appreciate you giving up your free time to train in first Aid , so to provide the best possible care to our young players / members and community. Any team that has not yet received the new First Aid kits , please contact Bryan Faul. A special thanks to the club’s Health and Wellbeing officer Elaine McFadden for organising the course and the presentation of the certs.

LADIES NOTES

Ladies game was called off on Sunday due to a water logged pitch in Dungloe.

Congratulations to Laura Gallagher and the Donegal Ladies on their win at the weekend.

Well done to Glenswilly Community Games Teams, Under 10 Boys and Under 14 Girls who are Donegal Champions and are through to the Ulster round.

Also congratulations to a young Under 12 Girls team who got silver medals on Saturday.

SENIORS GET A WIN

The senior team managed to get off the mark against Bundoran in a hard-fought encounter on Saturday last. The action turns to championship this weekend with Ardara providing the opposition. The best of luck to the lads.

LOTTO

The match 2 in last week’s club lotto was Kevin Cunningham of Bomany. The winning numbers were 13, 14, 17 and 20. The lottos are available in local outlets and through any member of the lotto committee.

QUIZ

The Club is holding a Table Quiz in Callaghans on Friday 27th May. Teams of 4, entry €20.00. Everyone is encouraged to support.

BINGO

Bingo continues in the clubhouse every Wednesday night at 9pm. Please get there early.
