GAA NEWS: GLENSWILLY SEEK PERSON TO WORK IN CLUBHOUSE

POSITION AT THE CLUB

If anyone is interested in taking on a position at the clubhouse on a TUS scheme (male and female), they are asked to contact chairman Peter McConnell.

PITCH

All managers and mentors are reminded that the main pitch is closed for the foreseeable future. Alternative arrangements for training and games have been put in place.

LADIES

The ladies team had a good win against a much improved MacCumhaills side on Sunday.
Their next game is away to Termon next Sunday 29th May. Time to be confirmed but expected to be around 10.30am

Under 14 girls are now training on Mondays at the training pitch at 6.15pm. All players are urged to attend.

Under 12 girls play this Wednesday 25th May at 6.30pm in Milford. Next week they play Termon, date to be confirmed.

QUIZ

The club table quiz takes place this Friday 27th May in Callaghans of Churchill.
Teams of four, please support.

SUMMER CAMP

Volunteers needed for Summercamp 2016. Camp takes place Wednesday 3rd – Friday 5th August.
If you are willing to help for a day or more please contact Bernie Lapsley on 086 3638204.
It is essential that all volunteers aged over 16 have completed Garda Vetting.

BINGO

Bumper bingo continues in the hall each and every Wednesday night starting at 9pm. Over €2,000 in cash prizes are paid out each night with €500 being paid out on the 9th game. Glenswilly Bingo is the only place to play bingo on a Wednesday night! Get there early and get your eyes down to win some cash!

LOTTO

The winner of last week’s club lotto was Martin Mongan of Letterkenny who matched 3 numbers. The winning numbers were 8,11,22 and 24. The club lottos are available at all local outlets and from any member of the lotto committee.

MONTHLY MEETING

The monthly meeting of the club’s minor board and general meeting will take place next Monday. Minor board meeting saris at 7.55pm while the general meeting starts at 9pm.
