One of Donegal’s most beautiful towns, is asking its residents to help keep it tidy – by hosting a Strawberry Dash Fun Run next weekend!

Dunfanaghy is one of the busiest towns in Donegal, and has a steady influx of tourists visiting the area every weekend throughout the year.

So it can be a challenging job at times to keep the vibrant town TIDY!

However, the tidy towns committee in the area are hosting a Strawberry Dash Family Fun Run to help raise some finance to help keep the scenic coastal village nice and tidy during the busy summer months ahead.

The race will take place next Monday evening – June 6th, which is a Bank Holiday, and the race will start on The Green – opposite the popular Arnolds Hotel at 7pm.

There will be a 5K run, walk or push depending on your fitness levels, while there will also be a 1K run for the kids!

The committee are asking for donations on the day to help with the costs of keeping Dunfanaghy tidy.

The best part of the event, is that all participants will be treated to Strawberries and Cream afterwards!!
