Feile na nGael is a national festival of hurling and camoige that takes place annually over a weekend, this competition is in existence since 1971 and is the premier hurling competition for club under 14 hurlers and camoige players.
This year’s tournament is being jointly hosted by Tipperary and Waterford and Donegal is well represented at this years event with three hurling teams and two camoige teams taking part.
Buncrana are in Div 5 of the hurling competition and are being hosted by Ballinahinch/Templederry from Tipperary other teams in their group are Four Roads (Roscommon) and Clonoulty/Rossmore (Tipperary).
Burt take their place in Div 6 and are hosted by Boherlahon/Dualla from Tipperary, other teams in their group are Carrickmore (Tyrone) and Tipperary’s Gortnahoe/Glengoole.
Aodh Ruadh are competing in Div 10 along with their host club Tipperary’s Fethard, Ballyvarley from Down and Tipperary’s Carrick Davins.
On the Camoige side of things St Eunans and Burt are in the same Section in Div 5 with Templemore from Tipperary hosting the Burt girls, and Kilruane/Mc Donaghs from Tipperary playing host to St Eunans.
