HEALTH: Shocking figures reveal that 66% of Irish men are considered overweight or obese.

We all know your health is your wealth and the stark truth is obesity can lead to increased risks of many illnesses including:

  • heart disease
  • high blood pressure
  • stroke
  • type 2 diabetes
  • many surgeons won’t operate on people with a BMI in the overweight range

The good news is, help is available!

This years Men’s Health Week led by Letterkenny CPD coincides with Fathers Day and the Donegal International Rally.

It is running from 14th to 18th June with plenty of information on men’s health and wellbeing.

So if you are worried about yourself or a man in your life you can find out more by clicking here: https://www.facebook.com/slimmingworldindonegal/ or come along to the Letterkenny Shopping Centre this Friday or Saturday and talk to a Slimming World consultant about how you can ensure your loved one doesn’t become one of these statistics.
