FOOTBALL: A homecoming will be held for Ireland hero Seamus Coleman tomorrow night in his hometown of Killybegs.

Coleman is expected to arrive at The Bay View Hotel between 9-10pm tomorrow evening, and a large crowd is expected to come and welcome Seamus home.

Coleman took over the captaincy for the Italy match, and famously led Ireland to one of their greatest ever victories.

He kept that captaincy today for the clash against France, and produced another superb performance from right-back.

However, unfortunately Martin O’Neill’s side bravely bowed out of the competition at rhe hands of the hosts.

Robbie Brady gave Ireland a dream start, but a brace from Antoine Griezmann dashed Irish dreams.

Coleman has been superb and his hometown of Killybegs couldn’t be any prouder, and they’ve organised a homecoming in acknowledgement of his achievements.

Well done Seamus, Donegal is proud of you.
