soccer ballLAGAN HARPS NEWS: The ladies team continued their strong start to the league with an 8-1 win over Finn Valley.

Scorers were Amanda Callaghan,  Amy Boyd,(3), Orla Friel(2), Caroline Gallagher and Nadine Crawford.

Our u14 girls had a 7-0 win over Bonagee Utd with Shannon Cunningham(5), Rihanna Devenney and Brenna Dunne scoring. Casey Barrett and Orla Mc Grath also played well.

Our u16’s lost 4-0 to Glenree with Neve Scanlon and Brenna Dunne playing well.

We had an u11 side competing in the Finn Harps u11 competition. The boys performed well on the day reaching the final, however they lost on penalties to Letterkenny Rovers. It was a well run competition and a help to the lads in preparation for the Foyle Cup.

Our u9’s took part in a blitz in Swilly Park. The Foyle Cup starts next Monday. We have teams competing at u/9,u1/0 and u/11 boys as well as our ladies team. We also have a couple of boys in the East Donegal u/12’s and playing with other clubs. We also have some girls in the Donegal girl squads.

In our weekly lotto the numbers drawn were 6,18,19 and 22. Ten people had two numbers with Conor Mc Gee drawn out and winning €50.
