BUSINESS: Terence Diver, owner of Diver’s Hyundai Garage, has hailed the success of Hyundai and Tucson – as they continue to lead the way both locally and nationally.

The success story of the Hyundai brand and indeed that of the ‘Hyundai Tucson’ which was launched last November continues to grow and its celebrations all around as per figures released for the first ten days of July telling their own story.

At Diver’s Hyundai, located on Canal Road, Letterkenny – the news is positive to say the least as the Hyundai brand looks to the future with great optimism at this renowned location.

To date this year from the 1st of January to the 10th of July the ‘Tucson’ model has sold 6188 units throughout Ireland blowing out of the water all expectations that the company had for it.

Terence Diver, proprietor of Diver’s Hyundai told Donegal Daily, “The success of the new model has been phenomenal both locally and nationally’.

“Second place nationally is Ford Focus on 3965, and in 3rd place is Volkswagen Golf 3908 while 4th place is taken up by the Skoda Octavia with 3629 sold and the Nissan Qashqai selling 3681 units takes up 5th place nationally in sales.

“It’s been an incredible year so far for us, it’s Donegal’s No 1 Selling car and make, and we’re delighted.”

In Donegal figures for the first ten days in July show that the Hyundai make and Tucson model continues to lead the way.

New vehicles registered by Divers Hyundai were 67: Toyota 49: Kia 46: GM (Opel) 27: Volkswagen 23.

The Hyundai Tucson just goes from strength to strength with Divers having sold 30 units : Sportage 19: Suzuki Grand Vitara 17: Rav 4 – 15 : Mokka 13.

So there you have it, good news all around for Hyundai and Tucson both nationally and locally.
