Congratulations to Eileen Kennedy who won Eithne Devlin’s Captain’s prize last Saturday with a great score of 73 net in windy conditions.
Our Donegal Seniors team had a very good victory over Ballyliffin by the slimmest of margins last week and progress to the next round.
The Minor League team played Buncrana away in the first leg and gained 11/2 matches which is a reasonable result away.
This coming weekend Captain Sean Hanrahan will be hoping for good weather as he holds his Captain’s weekend, and as usual a large turnout will take to the fairways in the hope of winning the most coveted prize of the year, it will be stableford.
The Captain’s prize to the Juniors will take place on the third Thursday in August to give the Juniors a chance to improve their game in a short but intense season.
Open week begins on Tuesday 26th July and there is a competition to suit all golfers so come along and enjoy the golf!
