Donegal Death Notices – Rest in Peace

Donegal death notices for today, Tuesday, August 2nd.

 

Father Paul GALLAGHER
The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Father Paul Gallagher, Hilltop, Falcarragh. Removal from the Hospice today, Tuesday, August 2nd, at 3pm going to his late residence. House private from after the Rosary until 10am in the morning and also on the morning of the Funeral. Rosary on both nights at 9pm. Removal from there on Thursday, August 4th, at 11.30am for 12 noon Funeral Mass at St Finnian’s Chapel, Falcarragh and burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to the Donegal Hospice c/o Stephen O Donnell and Sons Funeral Care or any family member.

 

Bernard (Ben) DUFFY
The death has occurred of Bernard (Ben) Duffy of Trusk road, Ballybofey peacefully at Galway University Hospital, after a short illness. Much loved brother of Patsy, Jim, Sally and Maureen, and cherished uncle of Bernadette. Sadly missed by his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Remains reposing at his late residence on Tuesday, August 2nd, from 6pm. Funeral leaving his home on Thursday, August 4th, at 1.30pm for requiem mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar at 2pm, followed by interment in Sessiaghoneill Cemetery. Family time from 11pm until 10am.

 

 

James (Jim) BOYLE
The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of James (Jim), Boyle, Drumkeen. Deeply regretted by his sister in-law Mary, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

His remains will repose at the home of his sister-in-law, Mary Boyle, Meenavoy, Ballybofey from 5pm today, Tuesday, Aug. 2nd. Funeral from there on Wednesday, Aug. 3rd, at 10.30am for Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Drumkeen at 11am, followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard.
