Geraldine McLaughlin jets back from NY for ladies quarter-final

GAA: Donegal ladies team did themselves proud against Galway as they reached an All-Ireland quarter final.

But it was a close call leaving a late, late Yvonne McMonagle point to eventually separate the sides after a late comeback by Galway.

But now Donegal have been boosted by the news that sharp-shooter Geraldine McLaughlin is to make herself available for the quarter-final in Dublin.

The Termon attacker is expected to fly back in from New York tomorrow, Wednesday, where she has been based this summer.

McLaughlin has been a thorn in the sides of defences for the past number of years with amazing scoring tallies in single games.

Her scoring power will undoubtedly increase Donegal’s chances of progressing to an All-Ireland Final.
