The women in the club are proving to be an unstoppable force within the triathlon circuit.

Siobhan Gallagher was third in the category 1 race held in Hazelwood Co. Sligo. Fin Begley was fourth woman home in the Olympic national series race held at the same event and there were category prizes for Anne Robinson, Ita McGettigan, Fiona Mc Daid , Martina Mc Daid , Catherine Mc Kinlay and Louise Alcorn in the sprint race held in Omagh.

Siobhan Gallagher racing in the elite category one race led the swim but the chasing pack caught her on the bike but she held on well to make third. Fin Begley as usual won her category and it took the best run of the day to put her into fourth in the trail run around Lough Gill in Hazelwood forest.

In Omagh four seconds separated Anne Robinson and Ita Mc Gettigan as Anne just held out as Ita chased her down in the run. Gavin Doherty was the best male performer in Omagh while Catherine Mc Kinley was first woman home for the club.

In Sligo Eugene Mc Gettigan was first man home followed closely by Donagh O’Sullivan and Martin Donnelly.
