Glenfin extend commiserations to Donegal Senior Ladies Team

Commiserations to the Donegal senior ladies team who were beat by Dublin in the All Ireland quarter final in Longford last Saturday.

 

Lotto

Lotto wining numbers for the 09/08/2016 are 2-4- 7-1- 6-3- 8-5. Stephen & Kathy Ward matched 3 numbers and get €30 each. Jackpot for the 16/08/2016 is €4000.

 

 

Minor Board:

U8 & U10 training will take a break now for a few weeks.

U16 Boys play Milford in Milford in the Quarter Final of the Division 3 league on Monday the 15 th at 7pm.

They winners are out in the Semi-final on Wednesday the 17 th .

U16 Girls next fixture is TBC.

U18 Girls next fixture is TBC.

 

Senior Ladies Football:

Our senior ladies had no fixture because the Donegal ladies were playing. Their next fixture is TBC.

 

Senior Men Football:

Our senior and reserves were both away to Cloughaneely in the league on Sunday the 14th.

Both teams came out on the wrong side of the result. The reserves were understrength and struggled to get into the game. Final score Cloughaneely 1.16 – Glenfin 0.08.

The seniors will feel this was one that got away. They were well in the game until they conceded two quick goals in the last 10 minutes of the second half which swung the game in Cloughaneelys favour. Final score Cloughaneely 3.08 – Glenfin 1.06.

Both teams are home to Milford next Saturday the 20th in the league.

There was no 3 rd team game last weekend. Their next fixture is home to McCools next Sunday the 21 st.
