St. Michael’s thank Bundoran for their sportsmanship when player got injured during game

All County League

Both teams were away to Bundoran on Sunday last in the All County League

The seniors staged a late comeback to earn a point on a scoreline of Bundoran 17 St. Michael’s 14. The St. Michael’s scorers were: Colm McFadden 1-4, Michael Langan 0-3, Michael Cannon 0-2, Christy Toye 0-2, Daniel McLaughlin 0-2 and Keelan McGee 0-1.

Many thanks to everyone in Realt Na Mara (Bundoran GAA Club) who came to the assistance, help, support of our injured player Ciaran Kelly on Sunday last. It is much appreciated.

The Reserves had a good victory winning on a scoreline of Bundoran 1-6 St. Michael’s 1-16.

Both teams are away to Glenswilly on this Saturday the 20th August with the throw ins at 5.30pm and 7pm.

St. Michael’s Mini Lotto

There was no jackpot winner in the St. Michael’s Mini Lotto on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 5,13, 14,15,17,19. The 2 Match 5 winners were Bridget Gallagher Corcreggan Dunfanaghy and M. MacPaul Milford. This weeks Jackpot be €2350.

The Club would like to thank Brian and Margaret Anne Dolan, Molly’s Bar Dunfanaghy, Seamus Sweeney Kildarragh Construction Philadelphia, Shaun Langan Creeslough Pallets and Michael McColgan Dunfanaghy for their continuing sponsorship of the lotto jackpot, it is very much appreciated.

Tickets are on sale in local businesses in Dunfanaghy and Creeslough and at the Bingo Session in Massinass Community Centre Creeslough on Sunday evenings, tickets for the St. Michaels Mini Lotto can now also be purchased on line anywhere at at onlinelotto on facebook .

 

St. Michael’s Bingo Session

The €100 on the 5th Game at the Bingo Session in Dunfanaghy on Sunday night last was shared by Mary Boyle Massinass and Aoife Langan Mayo, the €100 on the 10th Game was won by Nora Coll Parkmore and London.

Every house New Car if you check on 45 Numbers or less with the Lucky number in the Panel and also called in the first five numbers of that game.

The Magic Number from 1 to 90 is drawn out every Sunday night before the bingo begins. In addition every House winner will receive a free entry to the weekly lotto, this weeks Jackpot is €2350. The single book is €8, Double, Double Book €12, Sheet €2. Bingo continues every Sunday evening at 8pm in the Massinass Community Centre.

This Months 50 Club winners were: €65 Mary Ferry Murroe, €35 Mary Boyle Massinass and €25 Rosaleen McFadden Killoughcarron Creeslough.

Nicola is currently gathering photographs for the clubhouse. If anyone has ANY team photographs from winning senior, reserve, u21 or any underage teams in league/championship/Gaeltacht she would really appreciate if you let her know. All hard copies of the photos will be returned to you safely once we make a copy of them or likewise photos can be emailed to secretary.stmichaels.donegal@gaa.ie
Please spread the word as the team photos required date back to 1967!

All help with this little project would be much appreciated. Thanks everyone.

Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure is now stocking St Michaels club gear in children and adult sizes.

Initials can be embroidered on tops if requested in the shop.

 

St. Michael’s Minor Board

Creeslough Sports Day Thanks
St. Michael’s Minor Board expresses sincere gratitude to all who helped make our Sport Day the success that it was, despite the rain on our first Sunday. Thanks to all the sponsors, those who prepared the field and portacabin in advance of the sports, helpers on the day, everyone who donated spot/raffle prizes, home baking, sandwiches, those who participated, everyone who came and supported us on the day and those who helped tidy up afterwards.
U8s

The Under 8s are playing Downings on this Friday evening August 19th in Downings at 6.30pm with the bus leaving the Square Dunfanaghy at 5.45pm and Creeslough at 6pm. €3 for bus. There will be no training this Thursday 18th due to Friday’s match. Any queries please contact Bernard on 087 248 1402.

Under 10s

The Under 10’s are playing Downings on this Friday evening August 19th in Downings at 6.30pm with the bus leaving the Square Dunfanaghy at 5.45pm and Creeslough at 6pm. €3 for bus. There will be no training this Thursday 18th due to Friday’s match.

Training begins Tuesday August 9th at the Bridge at 5.30pm. Bus leaves Creeslough at 5pm. 3 euro for bus; any queries please contact Darragh on 0851602976. First game this Friday evening August 19th away to Buncranna.

Under 16s

The under 16’s were away to Termon last Monday evening and lost to a stronger Termon side.
