Donegal Death Notices – Rest in Peace

Donegal death notices for today, Friday, August 19th.

Patrick MCGRATH

The death has taken place at his residence of Patrick McGrath, Carrowen, Speenoge, Burt, Co Donegal. Beloved husband of Sarah and dear father of Charlie, Margaret, Patrick, Martin and Helen.

Funeral from his home on Saturday morning 20th August leaving at 9.15am going to St Aengus’ Church, Burt for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment immediately afterwards in Burt Cemetery.

Bridie GRANT

The death has taken place of Bridie Grant, Conneyburrow road, Lifford. Funeral from there on Saturday morning at 10.20am to St Patrick’s Church, Murlog with burial afterwards in the New Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Lifford Hospital Patient’s Comfort Fund.

 

Eamon BARR
The death has occurred of Eamon Barr, Middletown, Derrybeg, in Croyden, London. Arriving at St Mary’s Chapel, Derrybeg for 4.30pm today, Thursday, 18th August. Funeral Mass on Friday 19th August at 11am with burial afterwards in Magheragallon Cemetery, travelling via Errigal Road. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to Donegal Hospice, c/o any family member.

 

Margaret HURLEY
The death has taken place of Margaret Hurley, Maghera, Derry, (formerly of Carrick Co Donegal) peacefully at her residence 14 Crawfordsburn Drive, beloved wife of the late Joseph and much loved mother of Anne Marie Black, Joseph, Assunta McRory Marad Hasson, Dermot, Madeline Black, Aine Bradley, Fidelma Chapman, Christine O’Hanlon and Paul.

Funeral from her daughter Assunta’s residence 6 Tamney Crescent Maghera on Sunday 21st August at 10.20am for 11 o’clock requiem mass in St Patrick’s church Glen. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to Marie Curie c/o the family.

Deeply regretted by sorrowing sons, daughters, sister Sr Martha, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews , nieces and extended family circle.
