Last week we brought you inspiration for Autumn hair colour so this week we thought we would complement hair colour with some perfect hair cut inspiration.

There are 3 particular cuts that are set to be really popular this Autumn and Patrick asked Vicki one of our Master Colour Experts and Artistic Directors to give us an overview of these popular Autumn looks.

Vicki says “For many, Autumn is the time to try out new looks, whether it’s with fashion or your hair and it looks like this year’s inspiration will come from 70’s rocker chic meets modern muse with modern shags, textured bobs and fringes!

Modern Shag – January Jones

The ever beautiful January Jones looks stunning with this long modern shag with blunt choppy layers scattered throughout her entire head. If you want to try something new, but you want a low maintenance look this is perfect because the messier it looks the better and has zero maintenance between haircuts! What’s not to love about it?

Textured Bobs – Alexa Chung

Alexa Chung is always ahead of the pack when it comes to trends and fashion. This textured bob suits her beautifully and matches her cool don’t try too hard persona. The bob itself has a little length at the back with the front pieces angled upwards around the face, resulting in a choppy, unfussy cut.

Fringes- Dakota Johnson

Fringes has never really gone out of fashion over the past few months but more people than ever choosing a fringe that can grow our easily to refresh their look with low maintenance and fuss. Dakota’s long layers’ pair effortlessly with her long airy fringe. Worried if your face shape would suit a fringe? Don’t be there is a fringe type to suit practically every face shape, from peek a boo, full to side fringes the choice is endless.

Vicki says don’t be afraid to try new looks especially ones that are low maintenance, a few subtle changes can really transform your over all look.

If you do decide to go for a fringe and you are worried about maintenance don’t be! We offer one complimentary fringe trim up to four weeks of your original hair cut! Making sure that you style stays fresher for longer!
