Donegal Death Notices – Rest in Peace

Donegal death notices for today, Thursday, September 1st.

 

Una WARD (née Boyle)
The death has occurred of Una Ward (née Boyle) at Letterkenny University Hospital, from Keadue West, Burtonport. Removal from McGlynn’s Funeral Home on Thursday, September 1st at 3.30pm, going to her late residence.

Funeral Mass on Saturday, September 3rd in St Mary’s Church, Kincasslagh, at 11am, with burial afterwards in Belcruit Cemetery. Family time only from 11pm to 10am.

 

Maeve ROARTY
The death has taken place of Meave Roarty, a retired school teacher from Meenaniller, Derrybeg. Removal from Gweedore Nursing Home took place yesterday, Wednesday, 31st August, at 3pm to her residence.

Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, Derrybeg at 11am on Friday. Burial afterwards in Magheragallen Cemetery. Family time please from 10pm to 10am.

 

Louis NUGENT (SNR)
The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Louis Nugent (Snr.) of Glen, Carrigart and formerly of Knocknamona Tce. Letterkenny and Glasgow. Reposing at his son Louis (Jnr) and daughter-in-law Rosemarie’s residence at Killyclug, Letterkenny from 6pm this Friday evening 2nd September.

Funeral from there on Sunday 4th Sept. going to St. Columba’s Church, Kilmacrennan for 11am Mass with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Flowers welcome or donations, if desired, to Friends of Letterkenny University Hospital.

 

Teresa COLL
The death has occurred of Teresa Coll, Sheephaven View, Breaghy, Dunfanaghy, in Donegal Hospice. Removal today, Thursday, Sept. 1st, from Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny at 6pm to St. Michael’s Church, Creeslough arriving at approximately 7pm.

Funeral Mass on Friday, Sept. 2nd, at 3pm in St. Michael’s Church, Creeslough. Burial afterwards in Doe Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Donegal Hospice.

 

Bridget (Bridie) Patricia BRADLEY (née Connelly)
The death has taken place of Bridget (Bridie) Patricia Bradley, Nurse/Midwife, Marion House Cockhill road, Buncrana, originally from Bruckless House, Ardstraw, Omagh, Co Tyrone. Beloved wife of the late John and Loving Mother of Anne and Charles.

Bridie’s remains are reposing at her daughter Anne and son-in-law Michael Mc Callion’s residence Cockhill Rd, Buncrana. Funeral from there on Sat 3rd September for 11am Funeral Mass in St Mary’s Chapel, Cockhill, With interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family time from 10pm to 10am and on the morning of the funeral.
