Donegal Death Notices – Rest in Peace

Donegal death notices for today, Friday, September 2nd.

 

John (Dessie) MCDEVITT
The death has taken place of John (Dessie) McDevitt, Church Avenue, Templemore, Co. Tipperary and formerly Raphoe, Co. Donegal. Husband of the late Mai, peacefully at home after a long illness very bravely bourne. Deeply regretted by his loving daughters, Martina and Francyne, son Liam, daughter-in-law Frances, son-in-law Tim, adored grand daughter Caoimhe, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Grey’s Funeral Home Templemore this Saturday evening from 5pm. Removal at 8pm to the Church of the Sacred Heart Templemore, to arrive at 8.45pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday at 12 noon. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery afterwards.

 

Hughie MC ELHINNEY
The death has taken place September 1st 2016 at the Donegal Hospice of Hughie Mc Elhinney, The Diamond, Lifford and formerly of Eden Terrace, Strabane. Beloved husband of Ann, much loved brother of Margaret, Helen, Anna, Delia, Jean, Liam, John and the late Patsy and Winnie and stepfather of the late Robert. Reposing at his home on Friday (September 2nd) from 6p.m.

Funeral leaving his home on Sunday (September 4th) at 10a.m. for Mass in St Patrick`s Church, Murlog, Lifford at 11a.m. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, brothers, sisters, grandchildren and family circle. Donations in lieu of flowers please to the Donegal Hospice c/o 1A Newtown Place, Strabane. Family time please from 11p.m. to 11a.m.

 

Eleanor (Iza) GRAHAM
The death has occurred of Eleanor (Iza) Graham or Lignanornig, Ballintra, peacefully at the Rock Welfare Home, Ballyshannon. Removal from the Rock Welfare Home this Friday evening at 6.30pm going to the Methodist Church, Ballintra.

Funeral service on Saturday at 2pm followed by burial afterwards in Drumhome graveyard. House private please.

 

Theresa DOHERTY (née COLL)
The death has taken place of Theresa Doherty (née Coll) or 4 Chapel Road, Rathmullan. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law,brother, grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her home. Requiem Mass at 11am on Sunday in St. Joseph’s Church, Rathmullan followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
