Seniors progress to championship quarter-final

Congratulations to the Glenswilly senior who beat Bundoran by an impressive 14 points in the championship last Sunday on a final Score 3.12 to 0.07 Well done to all managers and players. The lads now face MacCumhaills in the quarter-finals on September 24th.

The AllSports League continues this weekend at home and another must win game for Glenswilly Seniors. The Glenswilly Reserves v Ardara at 1.30pm 11th Sept while Glenswilly Seniors v Ardara at 3.00pm 11th Sept.

JIVING LESSONS

If you have always wanted to jive but never had thre chance, then now your chance has arrived. Jiving lessons will start in the club hall from 23rd Sept to 4th November 8pm-10pm and there will also be a dance on the 28th October in the Station House Hotel for all the new jivers.

U13 Boys

Glenswilly Development team v McCools Development team at 12 noon Sunday 11th Sept in Glenswilly.

The following Friday, September 16th, the same team travel to St Michaels for a 7pm throw-in.

U19s

Congratulations to Glenswilly U9’s and U11’s who defeated St Eunan’s at the Park in the Inishowen Gaa League. They both progress now to the semi final in Buncrana. Well done to all managers and players.

U16 Boys Championship

Glenswilly v Malin at home in the Glen at 5.30pm on Sunday 11th Sept after the Senior game. All support is welcome.

Minor Championship

Fanad v Glenswilly Minors in Fanad on Friday 9th at 6.30pm (Extra time if required) The winners of this game willl play either St Eunans B V Milford in semi-final.

Ladies notes

Ladies won their game against Fanad Gaels at home on Sunday. Final score 3-7 to 3-5. Training continues.

Under 16 girls have a challenge match on Tuesday evening in Newton. Their quarter final is scheduled for 20th Sept.

The U13 girls play Naomh Columba on Saturday morning at 11.30am at home. All support appreciated. Training continues on Thursday 6-7 on main pitch.

All-Ireland tickets draw

Draw for the All-Ireland final tickets is Friday 9th September. To enter the draw, e-mail club secretary Aisling at aislingmcdaid@hotmail.com by 2pm this Friday.

Lotto

The winner of this week’s club lotto was Gerard Walsh who matched three numbers. The winning numbers were 6,12,14 and 24. Please support the lotto which is available in all local outlets.

Bingo

Bingo continues in the hall each and every Wednesday with more than €2,000 in prize-money each week. Bingo starts at 9pm sharp.
