Man arrested after driving up one way street and crashing

Gardai have arrested a man after he drove the wrong way up a one-way street in Buncrana.

The incident happened in recent days.

The driver is suspected of being drunk while driving and also had no tax, insurance, current NCT or driving license.

The Garda Traffic Corps have tweeted a picture of the vehicle which was eventually involved in an accident.

The man involved in the incident is expected to appear at a future sitting of the local courts.
