Sean Devenney and Ronan Whyte are traveling to Carlow this weekend to compete in the first of the U18 and U21 qualifiers for the European championship.
The two are junior members of the Northwest Snooker Club and are hoping to qualify for the European Championships which take place in Cyprus this coming March.
There will be three events with the winners of each automatically going to the championship, and they will be joined by the highest ranked player from the ranking list as well.
