Donegal Death Notices – Rest in Peace

Donegal death notices for today, Saturday, October 1st.

 

Stella MORROW
The death has occurred of Stella Morrow, The Heeney’s, Donegal Town.

Reposing at the residence of her son and daughter-in-law, Jim & Margaret Morrow, The Heeney’s, Donegal Town, today from 4pm to 10pm. Removal on Saturday at 1.15pm to Killymard Parish Church for Funeral Service at 2pm followed by burial in Edrim Graveyard. House private on the morning of the funeral please. Family flowers only.

 

Josephine GALLAGHER (née Quinn)
The death has occurred of Mary Josephine Gallagher (née Quinn), Strasallagh, Glenties.

Reposing at her late residence. Removal from there on Sunday morning to the Church of the Holy Family, Edeninfagh for 12 noon Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the new cemetery, Glenties.

 

Barry DOOHAN
The death has occurred of Barry Doohan of Shamrock Lodge, Falcarragh.

Reposing at his late residence. Funeral Mass on Sunday, 2nd October, at 1pm in St. Finian’s Church, Falcarragh. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Rosary nightly at 9pm. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Donegal Hospice.

 

John CANNON
The death has occurred of John Cannon, Stragaddy, Termon.

Reposing at his home from 7pm on Friday 30th September. Funeral Mass on Sunday 2nd October at 12.30pm in St Columba’s Church, Termon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family time please from 10pm to 10am and on the morning of the funeral.

 

Peter MC LOUGHLIN
The death has occurred at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Stranorlar, Co. Donegal of Peter McLoughlin, 10, Meendarragh Park, Woodlands, Letterkenny, retired Garda Síochána, formerly of Boyle, Co. Roscommon. Loving husband of Maureen (née McGinley) Ranafast. Loving father of Una-Marie, Caroline, Emer, Regina and Tracy, sister Eilish Harrington (Dublin) and brother Michael (London). Deeply regretted by his loving family, grandchildren, in-laws, relatives and friends.

Remains reposing at his home from 6pm this evening, Saturday 1st October. Funeral from there on Monday morning, 3rd Oct, going to the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballyraine, Letterkenny for 11am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in Conwal Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to St. Joseph’s Hospital Comfort Fund. Family time on the morning of the funeral.

 

Aidan CAREY
The death has occurred of Aidan Carey, Carn-Malin, Malin Head.

Cremation took place on Friday, 30th September, at 2pm at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. Donations, if desired in lieu of flowers, to the Irish Heart Foundation.
