ShopLK brings the Halloween Fest to Letterkenny with fun and games for all. On Saturday 29th of October, the town centre will be filled with ghouls, ghosts and all kinds of wonderful costumes as the people of Letterkenny get ready to follow the trick or treat trail.

Register for the Trick or treat Trail from 12.30pm at Market Square and bring the children on a fun filled trail round Letterkenny.

Now in its 5th year the Halloween Fest is proving really popular with children and adults. Many of the shops on Main Street and beyond will take part in the Trick or Treat Trail giving out treats to all the families in fancy dress. Letterkenny CDP once again bring their Halloween Monster Bash to town along with the House of Fright Mares, Photo Booth, Fancy Dress Competition, Disco with DJ Scoop and lots more games, arts & crafts.

The Letterkenny Shopping Centre and Retail parks are also getting involved with face-painting, family fun, pumpkin carving a lots more besides.

After all that we have a Halloween parade lead by the Letterkenny Senior Accordion Band at 4pm with dancers, ghouls, ghosts and scary monsters parading to the Courtyard Shopping Centre where the prize winners will be announced.

The President of Letterkenny Chamber, John Bowe, said, “We’re delighted to see how popular the Letterkenny Halloween Fest has become. It is great to see whole families out in town for the day dressed up in their creative costumes. The event is growing each year with the Retail Park, Letterkenny Shopping Centre, Main Street and The Courtyard Shopping Centre all involved making it a real community event. We look forward to seeing all the fabulous costumes on the day and we’ll be here to join in the fun.”

This Halloween also meet St.Colmcille and hear the legend of the Súileach Monster (watch out the monster may be lurking about) plus hear many more tales from the warrior saint.  Lots of fun to be had trick of treating and who knows you may get selfies with the monster.

Letterkenny Halloween Fest on Saturday 29th October includes all your favourite Halloween activities. Monsters, ghouls, ghosts and the trick or treat trail. So spend the whole afternoon in Letterkenny this Saturday for the best in Halloween fun.
