Malin GAA club raise €655 for ISPCA following church collection

Christmas Draw

All underage team players will be selling tickets throughout the paris for our annual Christmas draw with 5 great prizes to be won. The draw will take place on Sunday the 19th of December.

ISPCA

The recent church gate collections across the parish collected by club members for the ISPCA raised 655 euro, thank you for your generosity and donations.

Underage

The final day of the Annual Packie McGonagle and Shaun Farren Tournaments took place last Sunday in Connolly Park. A fine display of skill along with teamwork was witnessed across all the girls and boys who took part. Well Done to all the children who played over the last three weeks and well done to the winning teams and those players who received Player of the Tournament trophies, well deserved. Special thank you to Geraldine & Adam McGonagle and Eleanor & Michael Farren who were there to present the medals & trophies this morning. It’s a lovely way to remember Packie McGonagle who was instrumental in setting up our Club and Shaun Farren who played for our Club at the same age as those kids who play in the tournament now in his memory. Thank you as always to all those involved in running these tournaments which are great for our underage players.The boys under 6 training continues every Sunday at 10:00-11:00am, new members welcome. The under 12 girls continue training every Wednesday  from 4:00 – 5:00pm, All girls are reminded to bring runners, football boots, €2 and a gum shield, new members welcome.

Club Pool Room

The pool room is now open every Saturday and Sunday evenings from 8:00pm to 11:00pm in the clubhouse for anyone looking to play a game of pool.

Irish Dancing

There will be Irish dancing lessons upstairs in the clubhouse every Wednesday from 4:00 to 5:15pm and every Friday 4:00 to 5:30 for boys and girls from age 3 and upwards. All beginners welcome, competitive and non-competitive dancers. Contact Donna for more details 0862615755.

Club Shop

The last orders for Christmas can be taken up to next Sunday the 6th of November. The Club Shop is open every Saturday from 12.00pm to 2pm and Sunday from 11.20am to 2pm or alternatively contact Susan Byrne on 9370638 or 0867832242. The shop stocks a great range of in all sizes including coats, jackets, hoodies, tracksuits, socks, shorts, hats, gear bags and much more club merchandise. The club facebook page has a picture of some of the many items available along with a pricelist.

Club Gym

Charlie Byrne Health and Fitness is now running exercises classes in the New Get Fit Gym at the Malin Gaa Clubhouse. Mixed morning classes at 6:30am and 9:30am, Ladies only class at 6:30pm and Indoor cycling at 7:30pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Men’s class on Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30pm.  €5 per class or €60 for all classes for 6 weeks. 1 year Gym Membership for existing Malin Gaa members €100. New Gym members €120.
