CLUB NOTES FOR WEEK ENDING SUNDAY 6th NOVEMBER 2016

Super Sunday for our u16 boys and girls

On Sunday last both teams recorded victories in their
respective games. Congratulations to the u16 boys who are our last team of the year still playing, the boys have a county final awaiting them on Sunday at 1pm in St Mary’s Convoy, and all support would be welcome at this last game of the year.

The under 16 girls won the Div 2 county championship
in a hard fought win over Aodh Ruadh Ballyshannon.  It was a great team display, congratulations to the girls, and to Paddy, Kieran and Therese.  Great to see senior player Olive McCafferty back as team physio on the day as well, a great role model for the
girls.

BINGO

Friday night at 9 in An Craoibhín with almost €4,000
in prizes, your support would be much appreciated.

SENIOR MEN

Our senior men, with a mixture of youth and experience
fielding on Saturday last, recorded a one point victory over St Michael’s in the last game of the year.  Many thanks to Francie and his backroom team for their coaching and management of the senior team during the year, much appreciated by everyone. And thanks
to our kitchen crew who fed the players, and the odd supporter! at our home games during the year, the hospitality was great!!

LOTTO

Last week’s draw was held in Nora’s.  There were
no jackpot or match 3 winners.  Open draw winners were Karen McGeeve and Nicole McLaughlin.  Next week’s draw takes place in the Glenveagh Inn with Conor Tinney and Kevin McElwaine co-ordinating, and a jackpot of €2,650.

2016 AGM

This year’s AGM will be held at 6pm on Saturday 4th
December 2016.

FIRST AID BAGS
