A night out for a young woman from Letterkenny has led to a week of inconvenience as her car keys went missing along with her coat.
After an accidental coat swap in Voodoo Lounge on Sunday past, she discovered that she had taken home the wrong jacket.
Her car keys were in the pocket of her own coat, which means she has been unable to move her car and could face a high cost for getting the keys replaced.
The young woman’s mother has made an appeal to Donegal Daily to ask if anyone who has the coat could return the keys.
“I’m not sure if they took it deliberately, but as long as they return the keys,” she said.
The swap happened at the bar of Voodoo Lounge on Sunday November 6.
The woman said she left her black leather Topshop jacket with a fur collar over the back of a stool. She said there was a mix-up with the coats somehow, and she came out with a grey leather jacket.
Now, as the young woman is left unable to drive her car, she is appealing for her keys to be returned to herself or to Voodoo.
