Finn Valley AC completed a busy day at the Finn Valley Centre Sunday having hosted County x country champs on their grounds earlier.
This time in the evening it was the turn of the young athetes to be acknowledged at the annual awards ceremony at which some 73 youth age athletes that had won national championship medals were in receipt of club pennants, certificates and gear bags and every other current member also receiving a momentum.
Club coaches made the presentations and the assembled crowd the largest ever some 400 people plus loudly clearly appreciate the ongoing efforts of these same coaches.
A night of appreciation and thanks all round which included a moving impressive display of2015/ 2016 photographs per Dermot Mc Granaghan and a presentation by local community Games reps Orla Mc Gonagle and Ann Slevin to 11 youngsters that had qualified for national community Games finals.
Refreshments were the order of the day later and the verdict another enjoyable night with MC Patsy McGonagle.
