GAA club receives grant of €88K for upgrade of pitch and clubhouse

A grant of €88,934.30 has been sanctioned for Naomh Muire GAA Club in Mullaghduff.

Fine Gael Minister of State Joe McHugh TD welcomed the announcement from Minister of State for Gaeltacht Affairs Sean Kyne TD that a grant of €88,934.30 for Cumann Lúthchleas Naomh Muire, Mullach Dearg, Cionn Caslach, Co Dhún na nGall.

He said “This grant will be used to carry out upgrades to the Club’s building and in particular to provide an elevator to improve disability access to the building.

“I spoke with Club members earlier today and they are delighted that CLG Naomh Muire have been successful in their application. These developments will greatly enhance the Club’s facilities for the locals, club members and players, as they prepare in their efforts for Chomórtas Peile na Gaeltachta 2021.”
