Breaking News: Gardai launch investigation after man’s body found

Gardai are investigating the sudden death of a young man in Buncrana.

The body of the man, who is in his 30s, was found in the area of the Old Mill in Buncrana last night.

A Garda forensics team are at the scene of the incident and a post mortem is expected to be carried out on the man’s body.

It is understood the man is a Polish national who has been living in the area for some time.

A spokesman for the Garda Press Office confirmed to Donegal Daily that an investigation has been launched following the discovery of the man’s body.

A statement released by the Garda Press Office confirmed “Garda are investigating the sudden death of a man in his 30’s in Millbrea, Buncranna Co Donegal on 24/11/16 at approximately 20:30. This incident is not being treated as suspicious at this time.”
