Keadue Rovers Reserves 3 Donegal Town Reserves 0
Keadue came out on top in this mid table clash at Central Park on Saturday. Frances Gallagher shot just wide and then Ultan Boyles’ shot was saved on thirty eight minutes after a good period of pressure. Keadue went ahead when a free kick from Ethan Harkin bounced in the penalty area and Ultan Boyle poked it in at the near post with his right foot. On the stroke of half time Donegal Town should have levelled when a corner led to a flicked effort going just over the bar. Into the second half and Keadue were much the brighter in the opening minutes and made it 2-0 on forty eight minutes when Ultan Boyle ran onto a fine ball over the top from Eoin Duggan and hit a low shot past the advancing keeper. To their credit Donegal Town created a few chances and the home keeper had to save well on sixty four minutes after another good Donegal effort.
