Footpath works at Donegal school gets €30,000 – full CLÁR funding list here

A project to extend the footpath at a Donegal National School has been allocated €30,000 under the CLÁR Programme, it has been announced.

The footpath at St Columba’s NS, Acres, Burtonport, will be extended by 330 metres after the announcement this morning.

Donegal is set to benefit to the tune of almost €900,000 as part of the total CLÁR funding.

Of that, €351,500 will be given towards safety packages at school and community facilities across Donegal.

St Eunan’s NS in Laghy will have a new crossing and footpath provided at a cost of €25,000.

Three other projects have been allocated €22,000 under the programme.

They include the extension of the footpath and a new crossing and lighting at Kilcar NS; infill works on a new footpath at Glencolmcille; and the provision of a crossing and extending a footpath at St Eunan’s NS in Ballintra.
