Our men’s team had a disastrous first half in which they went 6-0 down away to Castlefin Celtic. Mark Hunter pulled two goals back in the second half to make it 6-2.

This Sunday they face another tough match when they are at home to local rivals and current league champions Drumoghill – kick-off is 2pm.

Our under-16’s had a busy week. On Tuesday night they beat Lifford Celtic 3-1 to qualify for the champions league., Scorers were Jack O’Donnell (2) and Darren Ferry. On Saturday they won 2-1 away to Dunfanaghy with Jack O’Donnell and Oran Downey scoring. They now face Swilly Rovers in the semi final.

In our weekly lotto the numbers drawn were 2,3,16 and 21. Mary Mulvenna and Eunan O’Donnell had three numbers and won €25 each.

Congratulations to men’s manager Keith Hegarty and his wife Jacinta on the birth of a son and also to Annie Gibson and Travis Crawford on the birth of a son.

Thanks to all who helped out with the craft fair in the hall on Sunday and there are still club calendars available at €5 each.
