Christmas Draw Anyone with Underage Christmas tickets are asked to get them to Maria McLaughlin before Friday the 16th of December. The draw will take place on Sunday the 19th of December in St Patrick’s Hall.
Lotto
This week’s lotto jackpot of €500 wasn’t won. The numbers drawn were 4-2-6-3-7-1-5. The €50 winner was won by Marian Kelly, Drumcarbit. Next week’s jackpot is €550.
AGM
The club would like to thank all those who attended our AGM last Friday in the Clubhouse. 2016 was a fantastic year for the Club with lots of successes on the field at both underage and senior level, as well as Shaun McLaughlin(F) receiving recognition by the County for his refereeing.
There were also a lot of fantastic community events throughout the year including over €3,000 raised for local charities through our Annual Sports Day.
Our Club is at the heart of Our Community and we hope to build on these successes again next year.

The club would like to thank outgoing Maura Monagle and Winnie Deery for all their work in their role of cultural officers within the club. We would like to wish everyone the very best of luck in their roles for the year ahead. One of the main themes for the night was the need for our members to become more active within the club – we are always looking for volunteers to assist with small support roles within the Club with minimal time required, if you are able to support your Club contact Elaine McColgan on 0863902626 for more details.
The senior and reserve team management for 2017 was ratified on the night with the Senior and reserve teams this year being looked after by Terence Coulhoun, Anthony Kelly, Eamonn Ryan, Martin Lafferty, Terence McLaughlin, Paco McLaughlin, Stephen Grant and Neil McGilloway.
Minor Board AGM
The list of managers for all underage boys teams for 2017 were confirmed after last week’s Minor board AGM. Under 6 managers will be Danny Lafferty, Aidan Gallagher, Celia Boyce and Catherine McGilloway, Under 8 managers will be Brian McCallion, Liam Lafferty, Brendan McLaughlin (JM) and Patrick Collins, Under 10 managers will be Kevin McGeogeghan, Danny Lafferty, William Mooney and Danny McLaughlin (Shosa), Under 12 managers will be Pat McLaughlin (F), Shaun McGeogeghan, Seamus McLaughlin (Fildara) and Kieran White, Under 14 managers will be Liam O’Neill, John McLaughlin (Shosa) and Eamonn Ward, Under 16 managers will be Michael McCarron, John McLaughlin (Rustard) and Sean McLaughlin (Owen) and minor managers will be Terence McLaughlin (H) and Paul Gallagher. Again all help needed so if anyone else is able to assist in any way contact minor board secretary Danny Lafferty. The ladies will finalise their coaches at a meeting after Christmas but there will be a need for a lot more help with the running of the underage ladies teams in 2017, so if anybody can assist in any way with the running of the underage ladies teams, please contact Maria McLaughlin (F) on 0877763679.
Calendars The club are featured on a Wild Atlantic Way calendar and are selling these now at the reduced price of €8 from the club shop or any committee member. Donegal Yearbook
The 2017 Donegal yearbook is out and would make an ideal Christmas gift, for those at home and abroad. Christmas Order from Club Shop
Anyone who ordered club gear for Christmas can collect their orders from Susan Byrne this weekend in the club shop. The Club Shop is open every Saturday from 12.00pm to 2pm and Sunday from 11.20am to 2pm, alternatively contact Susan Byrne on 9370638 or 0867832242. The shop stocks a great range of in all sizes including coats, jackets, hoodies, tracksuits, socks, shorts, hats, gear bags and much more club merchandise. The club Facebook page has a picture of some of the many items available along with a pricelist.
Facility Bookings

Remember the clubhouse is available for private functions/parties with stage, sound system, kitchen, bar and toilet facilities – contact John on the above number. Also anyone looking to borrow chairs or other items from clubhouse should also contact John.
Club Pool Room The pool room is open every Saturday and Sunday evenings from 8:00pm to 11:00pm in the clubhouse. All welcome.
Irish Dancing There will be Irish dancing lessons upstairs in the clubhouse every Wednesday from 4:00 to 5:15pm and every Friday 4:00 to 5:30 for boys and girls from age 3 and upwards. All beginners welcome, competitive and non-competitive dancers. Contact Donna for more details 0862615755.
Club Gym Get Fit Gym Gift Vouchers
Gift Vouchers are now available for the Get Fit Gym in the Malin GAA Clubhouse. Gym Membership is €120 and only €100 for current club members. The Gift Vouchers can be bought in the gym throughout the week. Vouchers can also be used towards fitness classes, nutritional plans and personal training with Charlie Byrne Health & Fitness.
