Letterkenny man Boyd Robinson certainly knows how to bring Christmas traffic to a standstill.

The well-known estate agent and his friends thought they would liven up their town with a bit of festive fun.

So they built their own Coca Cola truck and brought it onto the streets of the Cathedral Town last night.

Not only did they treat Christmas revellers to a spectacular light display in their brilliant new ‘four person’ vehicle.

But they also even managed to do a ‘doughnut’ or two at the Courthouse Junction.

Party-goers screamed in delight as Boyd and the lads officially go the town into the festive mood.

Boyd said he was just thankful that local Gardai took the stunt in the good humour it was meant.

“We decided to have a bit of fun so we spent a while getting the truck ready. Bringing it out on the town was a bit of a risk.

“But the reaction was amazing. I’m not sure if we broke the speed limit on the Main Street but the one thing I do know is that I’m suffering today,” laughed the businessman.
