Shay Given and his fiancée Becky Gibson are expecting their second child together.

The Lifford-born goalkeeper (40) and public relations executive (30) are already parents to Gracie, who was born in December 2015.

Becky announced the good news to friends and family with a photo of herself and Gracie in front of their Christmas tree at home where her baby bump is clearly visible.

“I didn’t plan on making a pregnancy announcement on Facebook but how can I resist with a picture this awesome? Amazingly captured by my aunt Lucy whilst celebrating 60 years of marriage for my most special grandparents at our beautiful home surrounded by all my family, old and young,” said Becky.

Becky toasted to an upcoming “year of carnage” as she prepares to have another young baby in the home.

“The stuff of dreams. My mama, my daughter and two thrilled great grandparents. Here’s to another year of carnage, no sleep but a lifetime of memories for our precious family and children,” she said.

Shay is also dad to children Shay Jnr (10) and Sienna (7) from his previous relationship with ex-wife Jane. The couple split in 2013 after 12 years of marriage.

Becky previously worked in a nightclub promotions role and has regularly travelled with Shay to watch his matches.
