Competition: Win tickets to see ‘Ireland’s most convincing folk band’

LETTERKENNY TRAD week kicks off this Friday night – and we’re giving away three pairs of tickets to one of the highlights of the week!

Legendary singer and guitarist Martin Carthy and his multiple award-winning daughter Eliza Carthy join forces with ‘Lynched’, “the most convincing folk band to come out of Ireland in years (The Guardian)”, and BBC Folk Award Winners ‘The Rheingans Sisters for one night only.

It’s happening at An Grianán Theatre on Saturday 28th January – as part of Letterkenny Trad Week.

We have three pairs of tickets to give away for this show.

Author of 'Boxing In Donegal: A History (2021)' - the definitive history of the sport in County Donegal - and 'Relentless: A Race Through Time', the 2019 memoir of former Irish Athletics Team Manager Patsy McGonagle. From St Johnston and now based in Letterkenny, Chris was a nominee for NUJ Sports Journalist of the Year in 2010. Honoured by the Donegal Boxing Board in 2016 for his coverage on the sport.
