Lagan Harps: Seniors have fine away win at Kildrum

LAGAN Harps’ team had a great result on Sunday when they won 1-0 away to league title challengers Kildrum Tigers.

A first have goal from Kenny Doran secured the points but the whole team put in tremendous effort to withstand a second half onslaught from Kildrum.

Two youngsters came in to the side with Caolan Murray starting and Karol McGinley coming on for the last half hour. Both acquitted themselves well in a tough encounter.

We face another tough game on Sunday with an away fixture with Kilmacrennan Celtic.

All of our underage teams have returned to training and new players or helpers are always welcome.

In our weekly lotto the numbers drawn were 6,8,21 and 24. Mick Boyle had three numbers and won €50. Next weeks jackpot is €7600. The club extends sympathy to the family of the late Brian Ferry, Lurgybrack.
