Donegal business community to get ‘fully charged’

Donegal’s business community will be given an opportunity to learn from one of Ireland’s best known leadership mentors at a special breakfast event in Letterkenny next month.

Pádraic Ó Máille, who has worked with many of Ireland’s leading business executives, sportspeople and politicians, will be the guest of Donegal Business Network (DBN) on Wednesday, February 15.

The ‘Fully Charged: How to Energise Yourself; Your Team; and Your Customers’ workshop – supported by Skillnets Tech North West – will be held at DBN’s weekly business breakfast in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Letterkenny.

Originally devised during the recession, the workshop aims to help leaders and executives “get more done, with more impact and more profitably”.

Mr Ó Máille, author of ‘The Midas Power’ and creator of the Smacht business boot camp, says it is imperative that business leaders see energy management as “the new time management”.

“When you are fully charged, you feel better, you look better, you think better. In short, you perform better. You are a better leader, a better executive and a better person.

“When your team is fully charged, they are full of ideas, are a pleasure to work with and in a nutshell, get more done.

“When your customers are fully charged, they buy more and more frequently, and are your greatest source of new business in that they willingly refer you to others,” he adds.

Denis Finnegan, Director of Donegal Business Network, says the word-of-mouth business networking group is delighted to welcome Mr Ó Máille to Letterkenny.

“Pádraic is someone with a longstanding and proven track record and his style is upbeat, inspirational and practical.

“Local businesses are being given a tremendous opportunity to benefit from his know how at this event. Those who attend can expect to leave with the attitude, knowledge and skills to bring leadership, people management and sales to an explosive new level,” Mr Finnegan adds.

The training workshop runs from 7am to 10am on Wednesday, February 15 in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Letterkenny and includes a bacon buttie and coffee/tea break.

To book your place, register at www.eventbrite.ie/e/fully-charged-how-to-energise-yourself-your-team-and-your-customers-tickets-31220635762 or email hello@donegalbusinessnetwork.ie

An entry fee of €20 per person is payable on the door.
