A text alert scheme is to be launched in the Dunfanaghy area this Friday night.
The launch takes place at 7.30pm in the Shebeen function room in the Oyster bar.
Organisers are hoping for as many people form Dunfanaghy, Falcarragh and neighbouring towns will attend.
Spokesman Michael McCafferty said the people of Dunfanaghy want to send a clear message out that they are taking all issues of social problem very seriously.
Guest speakers on the night include Garda Sgt Paul Wallace, Crime Prevention officer as well as Lawrence Mc Manus, member of the Joint Policing Committee and Vanessa Clarke from Muntir Na Tire.
All are welcome.
