Urris GAA club: Excellent performances at Scor Sinsir finals

Well Done to all from the club who took part in the County Final of Scor Sinsir last Saturday night in Glenswilly. We had no luck on the night but excellent performances from Neil Kemmy, Shaun Mc Daid, Ryan Ivers, Kieran Friel, Shauna O’Neill and Fiona Mc Feeley.

Club Iorras, February Winners:
€50-Neil Mc Laughlin, Isle of Doagh.
€30-Michael Mc Laughlin, Buncrana.
€20-Brendan Donaghey, Magheramore.

Urris GAA Defibrillator: The defibrillator is now available to the general public at the clubhouse in Straid in an outdoor cabinet to the left of the clubhouse front door. In emergency just pick it up and return as soon as possible afterwards. Please feel free to call to the clubhouse at anytime to familarise yourself with the location of the defibrillator.

Club membership is now due for 2017: Adult membership is €25, Student (3rd level and in full time education with Student ID) is €15 and under age is €5 (capped at €20 per family).

Anyone playing football for the club must have their membership paid up to be covered by insurance in case of injury. Club members will also have first preference on Donegal tickets for the coming season. Please contact Edward McLaughlin, Karen Kerr, Nichola Donaghey, John Farren or any committee member to get your membership. Membership closes on March 19th for this year.

Club Bingo every Thursday night in St Mary,s Hall, Clonmany at 9.00pm.

UNDER AGE TRAINING:
Monday: U16 Boys in Straid at 6.30pm.
Tuesday: U12 Boys in Training pitch at Straid at 6.30pm. to 7,30pm.
Wednesday: U14 Boys in Straid at 6.00pm to 7.00pm. .
Friday: U6 upstairs in the Youth Club from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.
Friday: U8 on the Astro from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.
Friday: U10 Girls on Astro from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
Saturday: U10 boys on Astro from 11am to 12 noon. Saturday: U12 & U14 Girls on Astro from 12 to 1pm.
Cost €2 per child to cover cost of the venue in the Youth Club. Please bring your gum shields and a bottle of water.

Please Note: As times and days may change for various reasons we will do our best to notify all parents and players of any changes.

The club are now selling tickets for the Donegal GAA Training Fund. 1st Prize : A trip to New York in April. 2nd Prize: €500, 3rd Prize: €250 , 4th Prize: 2 Donegal Club Pass Cards and finally 5th Prize: A Framed Signed Donegal Jersey. Tickets are €10 or 3 for €20. If interested in a ticket please contact Karen O’Donnell, John Friel or any Committee Members.
