Patrick McBrearty and Darach O’Connor have been restored to the Donegal team for tomorrow’s game against Cavan.

Donegal head for Kingspan Breffni Park on the back of Sunday’s morale-lifting draw with Dublin and the inclusion of McBrearty and O’Connor is a further boost.

O’Connor, who hasn’t started a game for Donegal since the 2014 All-Ireland final, had been named in the starting XV last wekeend, but he wasn’t risked.

Rory Gallagher, the Donegal boss, has incldued the Buncrana attacker in his team to face newly-promoted Cavan tomorrow, however, following substitute appearances in the games against Kerry, Roscommon and Dublin.

McBrearty injured a quad in the win over Roscommon and missed last weekend’s game, but the Kilcar man is ready for action again.

Eoin McHugh and Jamie Brennan are the players to miss out tomorrow.

Donegal (Allianz League Division 1 v Cavan): Mark Anthony McGinley; Paddy McGrath, Neil McGee, Eoghan Ban Gallagher; Caolan Ward, Frank McGlynn, Paul Brennan; Jason McGee, Ciaran Thompson; Micheal Carroll, Martin O’Reilly, Ryan McHugh; Patrick McBrearty, Michael Murphy, Darach O’Connor.
